Colts plan Sauce Gardner debut in Berlin | JQJO

Newly acquired cornerback Sauce Gardner practiced with the Colts on Wednesday and plans to play Sunday against the Falcons in Berlin if he clears concussion protocol, coach Shane Steichen said. Indianapolis landed Gardner from the Jets for two first-round picks and receiver Adonai Mitchell at the trade deadline, a bold swing that energized the 7-2 locker room. Quarterback Daniel Jones and linebacker Zaire Franklin said the move signals a win-now mentality. With Gardner joining Charvarius Ward, Kenny Moore II, Camryn Bynum and Nick Cross, the Colts hope for a potentially fearsome defensive backfield.
