More than 584,000 New Yorkers have already voted as the mayoral hopefuls sprint through the final early voting weekend. A new Atlas poll of over 1,500 people through Oct. 30 shows Democrat Zohran Mamdani at 40%, independent Andrew Cuomo at 34%, and Republican Curtis Sliwa at 24%, suggesting the frontrunner’s lead may be narrowing. Mamdani, appearing with Rev. Al Sharpton, pitched an affordability agenda and got a call from former President Barack Obama. Cuomo emphasized experience and crisis readiness, citing Hurricane Sandy. Sliwa cast himself as a blue‑collar choice. Early voting ends Sunday; Election Day is Tuesday.
