Gunfire broke out around 12:15 a.m. Sunday at a large home rented on Airbnb in Bath Township, Ohio, where a teen birthday party promoted on social media drew a crowd, injuring nine. The severity is unclear, and not all may have been shot; one leg injury may be from a fall. Most attendees were under 18, victims are 15 to 20, and no arrests were announced. Short term rentals are barred locally. Airbnb suspended the listing and removed the renter’s account as Akron police and firefighters responded and the city offered help to the investigation.
