Harvard scientist Avi Loeb says NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory data shows the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS exhibited non-gravitational acceleration near perihelion, intensifying speculation it may not be a typical comet. The Manhattan-sized body reportedly traced odd paths, one veering away from the Sun and another sideways, and brightened unusually, turning blue rather than the red hue common in solar flybys. Loeb argues the behavior could stem from cometary evaporation or a technological engine, calling it the ninth anomaly for 3I/ATLAS, which also shows an anti-tail and passed close to Jupiter, Venus and Mars.
