One night after outmaneuvering Toronto in an 18-inning epic, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts drew heat for yanking Shohei Ohtani in the seventh of Game 4, a 6-2 loss that knotted the World Series 2-2. With Ohtani at 93 pitches and two aboard, Roberts turned to Anthony Banda and then Blake Treinen; both surrendered run-scoring hits as Toronto stretched a 2-1 edge to 6-1. Roberts cited lefty matchups, but fans bristled online. Ohtani allowed six hits and one walk. Los Angeles hands Game 5 to Blake Snell against Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage, a rematch of Game 1.
