The Broncos will keep cornerback Pat Surtain off injured reserve after he hurt his pectoral in a Week 8 win over the Cowboys, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. He won’t face the Texans this week, but Denver’s upcoming games against the Raiders and Chiefs lead into a Week 12 bye that could buy him more recovery time without additional absences. Surtain started the first eight games this season and has 27 tackles with nine passes defensed.
