U.S. Accuses TikTok User of Threatening Pam Bondi

Federal prosecutors in Minnesota charged Tyler Maxon Avalos, 29, with transmitting an interstate threat after a TikTok post offered $45,000 to harm Attorney General Pam Bondi, depicting a target on her forehead and declaring her “DEAD OR ALIVE (PREFERABLY DEAD).” An FBI affidavit says a user tip on Oct. 9 sparked the probe; a warrant issued Oct. 16, and Avalos was arrested Oct. 17. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with monitoring and mental-health treatment conditions. The account had 79 followers; the video drew six likes and seven comments.
