Paramount will lose its most prolific TV creator, Taylor Sheridan, who signed a five-year film, TV and streaming deal with NBCUniversal starting Jan. 1, 2029, after his Paramount pact ends in 2028. Producing partner David Glasser and 101 Studios will follow with a first-look deal beginning in early 2026. The move, amid Skydance’s August acquisition of Paramount Global, underscores intensifying talent wars that also snared the Duffer brothers. Sheridan’s pricey but hit-making slate — from Yellowstone to Tulsa King — remains active on Paramount+ and CBS.
