Russia launched another overnight barrage across Ukraine, killing at least four and injuring 16 as missiles and drones hit Kyiv and the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging a kindergarten, cars, apartment blocks and shops. Ukraine’s air force said it downed four of nine missiles and 50 of 62 drones but reported direct hits at 11 sites. Visiting German minister Katherina Reiche sheltered during the strike, calling it distressing. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged sweeping sanctions on Russian oil; days after President Donald Trump targeted major producers, Kremlin envoy Kirill Dmitriev visited the U.S., touting talks. Russia claimed it downed 121 Ukrainian drones.
