President Donald Trump said a planned White House ballroom will be funded entirely by him and private donors, with no government money, and put the price at about $300 million, up from earlier $200–$250 million estimates. A full donor list remains undisclosed, but tech and crypto names surfaced, including Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Coinbase, Ripple and Tether. Alphabet will contribute $22 million via the Trust for the National Mall; donor Paolo Tiramani gave $10 million in stock. Meredith O’Rourke is steering fundraising, the military is involved, and the renovation is more extensive than previously let on.
