UN court to give opinion on Israel's humanitarian aid obligations to Gaza

The International Court of Justice said Israel must allow UNRWA to deliver aid in Gaza, obliging it to "agree to and facilitate" U.N. relief and ensure basic needs. The court said Israel hadn’t substantiated claims the agency is infiltrated by Hamas. Israel, which has blocked UNRWA supplies since March, rejected the advisory opinion and said it won’t cooperate with the agency. UNRWA welcomed the ruling, citing thousands of trucks waiting, and U.N. chief António Guterres urged compliance as a Gaza ceasefire holds.
