OpenAI unveiled ChatGPT Atlas, a browser now available on macOS that folds the chatbot directly into the interface. Click a prompt icon in any text field, use a new-tab bar, or keep a sidebar open to get help—like polishing an email in Gmail. Atlas can remember preferences to resurface past searches, with optional memories, incognito, and deletable history; OpenAI says browsed content won’t train future models. An agent mode, in preview for Plus, Pro, and Business users, can book reservations, search the web, or edit documents. Windows, Android, and iOS are coming soon.
