Netflix struck what it calls an unprecedented, industry-first pact with Mattel and Hasbro to co-master toy licensing for KPop Demon Hunters, the streamer’s record-breaking animated hit. Beginning in 2026, both companies will have exclusive rights to develop and distribute products, from Mattel dolls and action figures to Hasbro plush, youth electronics and role play. A KPop Demon Hunters edition of Monopoly Deal ships in January, with more items rolling out through the year. Executives hailed surging fan demand as Netflix expands consumer products, as the film returns to theaters later this month, and sequel talks continue.
