Israel received a coffin transferred by Hamas via the Red Cross, the IDF said, with the body to be taken from Gaza and received in a military ceremony with a military rabbi, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office. Forensic authorities will identify the remains before the family is notified. Hamas said the body was recovered Sunday; if confirmed as a hostage, 15 would remain in Gaza. The transfer followed a resumed week-old ceasefire after weekend clashes. Separately, Nepali student Bipin Joshi’s remains were being flown to his hometown of Bhimdattanagar.
