Aggressive Rams score after fourth-down gamble | JQJO

Perhaps following analytics or wary of struggling kicker Joshua Karty, Rams coach Sean McVay kept the offense on the field on fourth-and-3 in field-goal range in London. The decision paid off: a conversion, a march aided by a highly questionable unnecessary roughness call on the Jaguars, and a touchdown. Matthew Stafford, without top receiver Puka Nacua, went 7-of-9 for 45 yards and hit Konata Mumpfield to cap the drive. Jacksonville's offense opened with consecutive three-and-outs, leaving it chasing the Rams' early rhythm.
