Crowds across the U.S. rallied Saturday under the 'No Kings' banner, protesting President Donald Trump’s administration and calling for First Amendment protections. Organizers said nearly 7 million people gathered at more than 2,700 events, surpassing June’s turnout. The largely peaceful demonstrations featured marches, music and Halloween costumes. In Washington, Sens. Bernie Sanders and Chris Murphy spoke alongside Bill Nye; Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker addressed Chicago, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren addressed Boston. Some officials, including in Texas, said the National Guard would monitor for potential unrest.
