Eleven people were seriously injured Saturday night when a car crashed into a tent in a Bladensburg, Maryland neighborhood around 10:15 p.m., officials said. Nine of those taken to hospitals were juveniles, including an infant; two women were also hurt, according to Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department. The infant and a girl are in critical condition. The others have serious, non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said. It was not immediately clear why people were in the tent. The incident occurred a few miles northeast of Washington, D.C. The situation is developing.
