Upsets Ignite AP Top 25, SEC Spotlight | JQJO

AP Top 25 drama hit early: unranked Louisville stunned No. 2 Miami 24-21, intercepting four Carson Beck passes, and Minnesota beat No. 25 Nebraska 24-6. The spotlight shifts to the SEC, with the lone top-10 showdown—No. 5 Mississippi at No. 9 Georgia, where the Rebels haven’t won since 1996—plus LSU at Vanderbilt and Tennessee at Alabama. Elsewhere, USC visits Notre Dame for the jeweled Shillelagh, and Utah meets BYU as a Big 12 rivalry tilt. Washington at Michigan could push the winner into Sunday’s rankings.
