General Hospital swept the 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards with seven wins, including best daytime drama, writing, and acting honors for Nancy Lee Grahn and Jonathan Jackson. Sir David Attenborough, 99, set a new age record as the oldest Daytime Emmy winner, surpassing Dick Van Dyke’s 2024 mark. The Drew Barrymore Show and The Secret Lives of Animals each earned three trophies; Live With Kelly and Mark won best talk series, and Barrymore took talk host. Paul Telfer, Susan Walters, and inaugural emerging-talent winner Lisa Yamada were honored. Mario Lopez hosted; Deborah Norville received Lifetime Achievement.
