CINCINNATI — A third-floor balcony at a building near the University of Cincinnati collapsed Friday evening, sending 10 people to the hospital, officials said. One person is in critical condition; five suffered serious injuries and four had minor injuries, according to Cincinnati Police Capt. Stephen Bower, who said the building houses many students. 'They had a big exam today and they were celebrating,' he noted. Fire Chief Frank McKinley said the cause is under investigation. It wasn’t immediately clear how many people were on the balcony. Photos and video show the fallen structure on the ground as crews worked nearby.
