A Cameroonian-flagged tanker, the Falcon, caught fire in the Gulf of Aden after a suspected projectile strike, officials said, though an EU naval mission called it an accident. The fully loaded LPG tanker was abandoned by most of its crew; at least one mariner is missing and another is believed still aboard. UKMTO reported the blaze east of Aden as the Greek frigate HS Spetsai and a French aircraft responded. EU officials said about 15% of the ship is burning. The Houthis offered no immediate claim, and Israel’s military said it conducted no operation there.
