Ace Frehley, KISS's founding guitarist known as The Spaceman, has died at 74, his family confirmed. The family said they are devastated and that he passed surrounded by loving words and prayers. Frehley co-founded KISS in 1973, entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, and pursued solo work, including 2024’s 10,000 Volts. Weeks ago he canceled his 2025 tour dates citing ongoing medical issues. He was set to receive Kennedy Center Honors with KISS in December. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and extended family.
