Thursday's Steelers-Bengals game will pit Aaron Rodgers, nearing 42, against Joe Flacco, almost 41—the NFL's second-ever matchup of starting quarterbacks over 40 after Tom Brady vs. Drew Brees in 2020. Teammate Cameron Heyward joked about an Icy Hot Bowl. Rodgers praised Flacco's classic deep-ball touch and said he pulls for older players across sports. Benched in Cleveland and traded days later, Flacco was immediately named Cincinnati's starter. A second Rodgers-Flacco meeting is set for Nov. 16, assuming both remain starters.
