Days after her death, Diane Keaton, 79, was confirmed by her family to have died of pneumonia on Oct. 11. In a statement, they thanked supporters for the outpouring of love and suggested donations to local food banks or animal shelters, reflecting her devotion to animals and the unhoused community. Keaton, an Oscar winner known for Annie Hall, three Godfather films, Something’s Gotta Give, Reds, Marvin’s Room, Book Club and Father of the Bride, also left a style legacy. Tributes poured in from Bette Midler, Francis Ford Coppola, Kate Hudson, Steve Martin, Jane Fonda, Nancy Meyers, and Octavia Spencer.
