Philadelphia police arrested 21-year-old Keon King and charged him with kidnapping 23-year-old Kada Scott, who remains missing. After a Wednesday tip, officers searched the abandoned Ada H. H. Lewis Middle School in East Germantown and found at least two of Scott’s belongings—the most concrete evidence so far, authorities said. Another tip led them to King’s gold 1999 Toyota Camry at the Gypsy Lane Condos; it will be searched with a warrant. Police say Scott left work after about 20 minutes and had been communicating with King. He also faces a separate kidnapping charge.
