John Bolton indicted by grand jury, latest Trump foe to face charges

Former Trump national security advisor John Bolton was indicted in Maryland on eight counts of transmitting and 10 counts of retaining national defense information. A 26-page indictment alleges he shared more than a thousand pages, including TOP SECRET/SCI material, with two relatives lacking clearance, and kept classified documents at his Montgomery County home. The charges were unsealed in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt. FBI agents raided his Maryland home and D.C. office on Aug. 22. Asked at the White House, Trump said he hadn’t known and called Bolton “a bad guy.”
