An Alaska Airlines flight from Portland to Dallas made an emergency landing in Boise after passenger Tracy Barkhimer, 61, allegedly attacked crew members, police said. Officers cited erratic behavior and say two staff were struck, though the airline says only one was attacked. Barkhimer, of White Salmon, Washington, was removed from the Boeing 737 MAX 9 without incident Tuesday and booked into Ada County Jail on two misdemeanor battery counts. Flight AS1057 departed again after a 90-minute delay. Alaska Airlines praised its crew and apologized for the disruption.
