Apple is winding down its Clips app, removing it from the App Store and ending updates. A support page says that as of October 10, new users can’t download Clips, though existing users can keep using it on current or earlier iOS and iPadOS versions and re-download it from their accounts. With no updates, Apple urges users to save their videos to the photo library to edit with other apps. Launched in 2017, Clips let users stitch photos and videos with filters, emojis, and music; recent updates were mostly bug fixes, MacRumors notes.
