On the day Oscar winner and New York icon Diane Keaton died at 79, Saturday Night Live opened with a brisk political sketch and a reunion vibe. Host Amy Poehler played MAGA Attorney General Pam Bondi opposite Tina Fey as a gun-toting Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, riffing on Capitol Hill testimony, the shutdown, and Noem’s dog-killing memoir anecdote. Poehler returned for her third hosting stint; Role Model made his SNL debut as musical guest. Next week, Sabrina Carpenter will serve as both host and musical guest.
