Apple has effectively ended support for Clips, its video-editing app, removing it from the App Store. A support document says it won’t be updated and, as of yesterday, new users can no longer download it. Those who already have Clips can keep using it and redownload it from their account, with instructions provided for saving videos and individual clips to the photo library or other locations. Introduced in 2017, Clips added features like Memoji, Animoji, and LiDAR-driven AR, but in recent years received only occasional bug-fix updates.
