Disney’s Tron: Ares is set to lead the weekend but with a dimmer glow than expected, grossing $14.3 million through Friday and previews from 4,000 venues after tracking had pointed north of $45 million. The $180 million threequel trails 2010’s Tron: Legacy and carries a B+ CinemaScore. Paramount’s Roofman is eyeing second after $3.25 million, also on the lower side of forecasts. Sony’s Soul on Fire earned $1.3 million and targets a $3 million bow, while Kiss of the Spider Woman barely registered with $343,000 in semi-wide release.
