Following the announcement of a peace deal between Israel and Hamas, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, backed by Israel and the U.S., has ventured into the devastated territory of Gaza. The area, home to 2.2 million people, has been largely obliterated after two years of conflict, with hundreds of thousands now living in overcrowded camps. The peace deal, which includes the release of hostages and detainees, as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid, has been met with cautious optimism. However, concerns remain about the long-term peace process, the reconstruction of Gaza, and the future of the Palestinian state.
