Trump Plans Cuts to Democrat-Favored Programs Amid Shutdown | JQJO

Amid the ongoing government shutdown, President Trump has announced plans to permanently cut government programs favored by Democrats, a move he sees as an 'unprecedented opportunity'. While the specific programs have not been disclosed, they are described as 'very popular Democrat programs'. The administration has already frozen about $18 billion for New York City infrastructure projects and $8 billion for climate-related funding in Democratic-leaning states, with an additional $12 billion for clean energy projects under consideration.
