Derrick Groves, the final escapee from a group of 10 men who broke out of the Orleans Parish Justice Center in May, has been captured in Atlanta. Groves, a convicted murderer, was found in the crawl space of a house after a brief standoff with police. The escapees had initially fled the prison by climbing through a hole in the wall behind a toilet, scaling a fence and crossing an interstate. Groves was awaiting sentencing for two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and a federal firearms charge at the time of the escape.
