Pope Leo is set to embark on his first international Apostolic Journeys, visiting Türkiye and Lebanon in late November and early December. He accepted invitations from the Heads of State and Ecclesiastical Authorities of both nations. The Türkiye visit will include a pilgrimage to İznik to commemorate the 1700th anniversary of the First Council of Nicaea. Details for the Lebanon itinerary will be released later.
