A medical helicopter crashed on U.S. Highway 50 in Sacramento, critically injuring all three people aboard. Bystanders heroically assisted firefighters in lifting the aircraft to rescue a woman trapped beneath it. The other two individuals were also pulled from the wreckage and hospitalized in critical condition. The helicopter had recently dropped off a patient, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
