A judge in Albania was shot and killed during a property dispute trial in Tirana. Judge Astrit Kalaja died en route to hospital. Two others, a father and son, were injured but their injuries were not life-threatening. A 30-year-old suspect, identified as Elvis Shkëmbi, has been arrested. The incident has prompted calls for increased court security and stricter weapon possession laws.
