A severe snowstorm has trapped at least 200 hikers in a Mount Everest valley. While 350 have been rescued, one hiker died from hypothermia and altitude sickness. The region was experiencing peak visitation during China's National Day holiday when the storm hit, causing heavy snowfall and blocking access. Hundreds of rescuers and villagers are working to clear paths, but reaching all stranded individuals remains a challenge.
