An interstellar comet, 3I/Atlas, will pass by Mars on Friday at a speed of 193,000 mph. Several spacecraft, including those from NASA and the European Space Agency orbiting Mars, are trained on the visitor. This marks the third known interstellar object to pass through our solar system. The comet poses no threat and will reach its closest point to the sun in late October, with Earth in December.
