Renowned primatologist Jane Goodall continued her active work and public engagements until her passing on September 26th. Just a week prior, she was interviewed in New York, and recently appeared on a Wall Street Journal podcast. Goodall, famous for her groundbreaking research on wild chimpanzees in Tanzania starting in 1960, was a vocal activist for animal welfare and environmental education. Her observations, including tool use by chimpanzees, revolutionized evolutionary science and challenged human exceptionalism, earning her the title 'Sister of Mother Earth'.
