A detainee at an Immigration and Customs Facility in Dallas, Miguel Angel Garcia-Hernandez, has died after being shot last week. Authorities described the incident as a targeted act of violence. Garcia-Hernandez, a father of four and expecting a fifth child, had lived in the U.S. for two decades. Another detainee was killed and a third injured in the shooting. ICE referred to the victims as "criminal illegal aliens."
