Listeria in Walmart, Trader Joe's meals may be linked to fettuccine outbreak

Federal health officials are warning consumers against eating certain heat-and-eat pasta meals sold at Walmart and Trader Joe's due to potential listeria contamination. The USDA updated an alert to include Trader Joe's Cajun Style Blackened Chicken Breast Fettucine Alfredo and previously warned about Marketside Linguine with Beef Meatballs & Marinara Sauce from Walmart. These products may contain the same listeria strain linked to a deadly outbreak. While no recall is issued, stores have removed the items. Listeria can cause severe illness and death, particularly for vulnerable populations.
