A 10-foot bronze statue honoring rock n' roll icon Tina Turner was unveiled in her hometown of Brownsville, Tennessee. The sculpture, designed by Fred Ajanogha, captures Turner's energetic stage presence. The unveiling coincided with the annual Tina Turner Heritage Days, celebrating the Grammy-winning artist's roots. The project was funded by approximately 50 donors, including a significant contribution from Ford Motor Co. Turner, known as the 'Queen of Rock 'n' Roll,' passed away in May 2023 at age 83.
