A 10-foot bronze statue of rock n' roll icon Tina Turner was unveiled in Brownsville, Tennessee, her childhood community. The statue, designed by Fred Ajanogha, depicts Turner with her signature style and microphone. The unveiling coincided with the 10th annual Tina Turner Heritage Days, celebrating her life and legacy. Turner, known as the 'Queen of Rock 'n' Roll,' passed away in May 2023. The statue was funded by donors, including a significant contribution from Ford Motor Co.
