Retired investment banker Howie Rubin has been arrested on federal sex trafficking charges. Prosecutors allege Rubin, 70, along with his former assistant Jennifer Powers, 45, operated a trafficking network for years, using luxury hotels and a converted Manhattan penthouse into a "sex dungeon" with BDSM equipment. Rubin allegedly subjected women to non-consensual sexual acts, including beatings, and used threats to silence victims. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail due to flight risk and danger to the community. Powers was arrested in Texas.
