Crimes against humanity charges against former Philippine President detailed by court

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has unsealed charges against former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte for crimes against humanity. The 15-page document alleges Duterte's involvement in the deaths of at least 76 people during his time as mayor of Davao City and president. The charges detail killings during targeted operations and allege Duterte instructed violent acts against alleged criminals. Duterte, currently in ICC custody in the Netherlands following his arrest in the Philippines, has previously denied authorizing extrajudicial killings. His supporters criticize President Marcos Jr. for his role in Duterte's arrest and surrender to the ICC.
