Microsoft is increasing Xbox console prices, effective October 3rd. The Xbox Series S will see a $20 increase, while the Series X and its digital edition will rise by $50. A special edition 2TB Series X will cost $800, a $70 increase. These price hikes, following a similar increase in May, are attributed to macroeconomic factors and tariffs. The price increases put the Xbox Series X at a higher cost than comparable PlayStation 5 consoles.
