Emulate Jef Raskin's Humane Interfaces | JQJO

This article details how to emulate Jef Raskin's humane computer interfaces: the Canon Cat and SwyftCard. The Canon Cat, a keyboard-only word processor, is emulated using MAME, while the SwyftCard, for the Apple IIe, is emulated via software by Eric Rangell. The article also covers Raskin's later Humane Environment software, available for emulation on older Macs. These emulations offer a glimpse into Raskin's vision for user-friendly interfaces, contrasting them with the current trends in computer design.
