Egyptian officials reveal sad end in case of 3,000-year-old golden pharaoh's bracelet stolen from museum

A 3,000-year-old golden bracelet, belonging to King Amenemope, was stolen from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. A restoration worker sold the artifact for approximately $4,000. The bracelet was subsequently melted down, resulting in its irretrievable loss. Four suspects, including the worker and those involved in selling and melting the bracelet, have been arrested. Egyptian authorities have launched an investigation and recovered some of the proceeds from the sale. The delay in public disclosure was attributed to safeguarding the investigation.
