A 3,000-year-old gold bracelet belonging to King Amenemope has been stolen from a Cairo museum restoration lab. The Egyptian antiquities ministry launched an internal investigation and alerted border control nationwide. The bracelet, featuring lapis lazuli beads, was discovered missing during a recent inventory check. The theft occurred days before the Grand Egyptian Museum's opening and follows a similar incident in France. Authorities are working to recover the artifact and prevent its smuggling.
